About the winery
Madrona Vineyards, established in 1973, is one of the pioneer wineries in the El Dorado Appellation. Focusing on varietally specific and food-oriented wines, we embrace the fruit and terroir of our 65 acres of estate-grown vines. Our three unique vineyard sites, farmed organically without herbicides, allows us to produce 20+ varieties, including traditional varieties such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc, to more unique varieties such as Barbera, Nebbiolo and Chenin Blanc. Family owned for 50 years!
