About Placerville Speedway
Placerville Speedway is a quarter-mile banked dirt track that is home of the best Saturday night show on dirt in Northern California March thru September. Divisions include Winged Sprint Cars, Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks plus guest divisions including Dwarf Cars, Wingless Sprint Cars, BCRA Midgets, Midget Lites and more. The red clay dirt track has been the "place to be'' to fans of auto racing in El Dorado County since June 18, 1965 at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.
