Two locations, Carson Road in Camino, and Sequoia Mansion in Placerville, offer tasting experiences unique to each. Both are "Destination" locations—in Placerville's Sequoia Mansion, with authentic 1800s history, and on Apple Hill in Camino, a family-friendly spot with outdoor patio, gorgeous views and live music weekends with sister craft brewery, Hwy 50 Brewery. —— Nello Olivo produces widely praised Italian-style wines from 11 varieties of estate-grown grapes. His wines lean toward bold and robust, smooth and balanced, with old-world complexity. As authentic and delicious as his single varietals are, Nello and his alter-ego The Grapefather receive accolades for excellent blends such as Super Tuscan, Drop Dead Red, Family Secret, and the best-selling, Grapefather. In particular, Nello's flagship blend, Toscanello, is a favorite with club members and competition judges.
