Back to School Wine Education Event

Back to School? No thanks. Back to Wine School? Now we’re talking! Learn the intricacies of wine tasting and some winemaking secrets from Shadow Ranch’s owner and winemaker, Sam Patterson. You’ll have the opportunity to taste several different varietals side by side and learn how to pick up on the notes that distinguish one from another. Sam will guide you through what to look for, smell, and taste when you go wine tasting. With his background in both vineyard management and winemaking he can answer all your burning questions about grapes, wine, and everything in between! By the end of this class you’ll be able to wine taste like a pro and impress your friends on your next excursion to wine country. Bonus: This event will be hosted down in the Shadow Ranch cellar, where the temperature is always cool, but not too cool for school.
