The Blind Barrel
December 5, 2015 from 6:00-10:00pm
The Gold Trail Grange: 319 State Highway 49 / Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park / Coloma, CA
The Blind Barrel is an El Dorado Winery Association event celebrating the repeal of Prohibition with the passage of the Twenty-first Amendment to the United States Constitution on December 5,1933.
Join us in period garb as we serve great local wine at our authentic speakeasy venue—a 1920's grange hall in the center of the historic Marshall Gold Discovery State Park! This intimate venue only holds 250 guests—don't miss your chance to be one of the few to attend the inaugural event! Sure to become a cult classic, the Blind Barrel is one shin-dig you don't want to miss.
Enjoy a gourmet soup-line and wine tasting of the best whites, reds and rose's that El Dorado has to offer. Mix and match bottles from our BLACK MARKET and dance the night away to a rousing swing band.
Prizes will be awarded for best prohibition-era outfit, so get out your best duds, shine your shoes and shake a leg at this exclusive soiree!
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to MORE—Mother Lode Rehabilitiation Enterprises.
Tickets are $50/person (non-refundable)
